Hi! We’re the Cowan’s- Cody and Melissa. We are the breeders behind Cowan Farms located in Stuart, Iowa. We are a small town, family breeder of Cane Corsos. ICCF registered/breeder. We love each of our pups as our own. We are dedicated to raising the newest member of your family!
Our Story
We began breeding Cane Corsos as part of Cody’s lifelong dream to own one himself. Our search for one took us 9 hours away from home to upper Michigan in order to bring home our sire. That journey sparked our passion to raise and share this loyal, protective, intelligent, and loving breed with other families in our region and beyond!
Our Philosophy
Our breeding program is special because it comes from our hearts. We raise our Cane Corsos as part of our family and home- not a puppy mill.
This isn’t just a business—it’s a reflection of what we believe in. Every puppy is loved and cared for as if they were staying with us forever.
Our goal is for each one of our puppies to mean as much to you and your family as they do to ours. We are dedicated to finding them their forever home!
Our Promise
Each puppy has been raised inside our home along side dam and sire.
They have been exposed to a variety of sounds.
Puppies have experienced a variety of surface/tactile stimulation.
They have experienced daily handling, numerous times a day.
All puppies have been introduced to people of different ages and appearances. They are very comfortable with children.
